Raag-Rang is a New Jersey based not-for profit 501(c)3 company (Tax id no. 20-8672192) dedicated to the promotion of Indian classical music.

Our mission is to nurture and sustain an interest in the vast and diverse field of Indian music. With this objective in mind, we conduct regular concerts featuring budding artists of the future (Kal Ke Kalakar) who are sincerely pursuing this art form as well as some of the renowned artists in the field of Indian music. We also conduct lecture-demonstration events which provide you with an opportunity to experience and enhance your knowledge about a specific area of Indian classical vocal or instrumental music.

The director of Raag-Rang is the noted Hindustani vocalist, Mitali Banerjee-Bhawmik. Her extensive experience in the field of music enables Raag-Rang to be able to showcase some of the best talents in the field of Indian classical music.

Raag Rang has been chosen to receive the 2025 Excellence in the Arts Award from the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission in the category of Arts in the Community - Innovative, Inclusive, and Inspiring Arts Programming.
